An Advent Reaction

So we got to visit a different church for worship on Sunday. At one point the pastor made a comment in passing that could've came across differently than I think she intended. And, it caused this Advent reaction in my mind:

Jesus didn't come to make a difference;
Jesus comes to make us different.

Make sure you're not just getting ready for Christmas Day--we have to also make sure we're getting ready for The Day Christ returns.

"Now may the God of peace make you holy in every way,
and may your whole spirit and soul and body
be kept blameless until our Lord Jesus Christ comes again."
